Royal River Dredge
Customers of Yarmouth Boat Yard
 As you may know, the federal dredge of the Royal River will begin on approximately October 1, 2014.

Burnham Associates, Inc. out of Salem, MA, won the bid. According to the Army Corps, Burnham Associates, Inc. will begin on or around October 1st, starting at the mouth of the Royal River and dredging for approximately 3 months, weather permitting.

Yarmouth Boat Yard slip contracts end on October 15th, 2014. October 1st - 15th boaters will only be able to pass the dredge work area during high tide.
Prock Marine Company, out of Rockland, ME, will begin dredging Yarmouth Boat Yard on or around November 8th, 2014.

The dredging contractor is being required to use a specific haul route when transiting to and from the dredged material placement site as indicated by the map.

All fishing gear must be removed 200 feet from either side of the specified haul route centerline to avoid damage to, or loss of, fishing gear during this operation.
